I take it you mean on 6000 pads? Meaning we can still get the 5000 graphic on say... 5000 pads

I think it's due to the work load, or because I'm Swedish...
Probably cause of the work load.

I assumed so, but i always fear the worst.
I bet you're right that it is cause of work load. Hasn't his order times increased from 8 to 10 weeks of late?

I just had a run in with someone by the last name of Tomasella. He had these really nice brand new 6000's, the whole set. Vintage Isles colors with a 3 on one leg and a 4 on the other, 34. Completely custom graphic, orange nylon straps. He said he was personally reviewing them for Pete himself, since Pete lives somewhere on LI. He game me his initial impressions about them, comparing them to the Rx9 goal pad and R8 goal pad. He liked that they were stiff, but they had a double break. The thighrise, which was 34+3, looked huge. The quality looked absolutely amazing as well. That was my first upclose experience with a pair of Smith's, and I'm thinking of getting a pair for my next set.
Just thought I'd share that, might be interesting to some.

I think you're talking about Tomasello. I don't know him personally, but he plays at Chelsea and a few of my friends know him. Pete Smith doesn't live on LI, but when he was growing up, Tomasello got to know Pete Smith personally (or so I've heard). Just thought I'd clear that up.

Oh. I think he said Pete grew up on LI? Is that true?
Yeah, but he's a nice guy.

The price of the Smith's is pretty awesome... I am ordering a new set of something in August, the question is what, I thought I had decided on Brian's but I might not be so sure now that Ive seen the Smith 6000's and the price attached.
Ive got some time to field my options but can someone thats used the 6000's thus far give me an idea how they are?

go with Smith bud. You'll be glad you did.
I'm into my 2nd set and they ROCK. Nothing lbeats custom made by a real pro.
And to top it all off, his price is fantastic.
