Tim Thomas is now wearing Itech from what I see... so Barren should be the new poster boy. I love my Smiths too, but in a totally platonic way... not like Barren

Woohoo! We're through June! I ordered mine the first week of August, so that means there's only July orders left!

*crossing fingers that Pete's email and phones stopped working in July and ZERO orders were placed*

LOL Thanks guys! I actually haven't talked to Pete in awhile, not since I asked if I could buy a new set of laces for my pads and he instantly sent me out a set for free!

I try not to bother him, cause I know you guys need your pads like a junky craving a fix!

I've had my smiths now for over a year and they are absolutely without a doubt the best pads I've ever worn! The gloves I've had now for 9+ months now and they are also the best that I've ever used... They are so light, so functional, so protective and yet they are a thing of beauty!

It's easy to say positive things about Smith Hockey! Pete is awesome to deal with, you don't have to worry about if some punk answering the phone actually wrote down your order correctly, he's accurate and he's very thorough! Quality custom gear is his game and he's at the top of it!

And I'm a little vain.. I do have a team picture and a solo picture of me hanging up at my desk at work... so what? I'm so happy with how my pads turned out that I like to look at them.. Is that so wrong?

Now the most painful part of the wait begins.....the part where I *know* the glove is on the way!

At least before I was still counting weeks till shipping day!

I'm using my Smith SP1000s with no boot strap. Works great, no need for 2.

What's the point of a second boot strap. Boot straps are so loose now a day's that they really don't do anything. I have 1 strap on my SP4000's and have no issues. I had one strap on my H10 Pro's and it worked fine.

I dont like the feel of loose boot straps, i wear em pretty tight. I personally like the feel better, Maybe its just what im used to.
