I've never had a 4000 in my hands, I can't really give you a correct answer. You will have to ask Pete and/or guys who had them both.

The top strap can be positioned to attach above the thigh boards on both sides if you'd like. The pads come standard with five straps and seven outside attachment points.

* I dont like wearing toe ties and never have done. is it worth while getting a second boot strap put in?

also do you think its possible to get the tim thomas graphic done?

Thanks Alot For Your Help

For your question. Contact Pete..he will take your measurement.

And for me. The fully squared thigh will be scrached off my list since Pete and i decided that it would hinder my mobility. It also is a 30$ upcharge.

11 inch wide standard.

"Alot of features we feel work with an 11 inch wide pad that we couldnt do with a 12 inch pad" There wont be the thing that hugs against the post.

Besides that i dont know.

About leather/nylon straps. I prefer the "profesional" look of leather straps. Pete convinced me to go with nylon in the knee section for comfort. I accepted because with Pete's strap attachment, I can switch back to leather easily. But now nylon is growing on me and it's more likely that I'll change the leather ones to nylon

Carl
I'm assuming Pete does the leather straps just like he does the one for the boot strap? With the partial strap that gets wider and slides through the plastic mounting point? I suppose that would work out well too. I just got annoyed with my leather straps on my bionics because they got crusty and started to wear...

Black weave/ Silver Weave / Red Weave.

The pads in that picture I dont own anymore. I made a big mistake with my measurements when ordering. Pete had me send them back, and remade me a set free of charge. The second set was the same look wise-but who knows what he did with the set pictured.
