i had one on before, very solid stuff. Apparently it is the best senior gear in the world. Like as close to pro quality as you can get. The glove was solid, game ready, the blocker was reaaally nice, just not in the colors i needed.

I'm reasonably happy with my 4.8 pants. The only thing I don't like about them is the extra outer roll, which is there simply to make you bigger. I'm not so much against the idea, but when I try to stack the pads, it just gets in the way.
I'm also surprised that the 10.8 Vamps seem to have the same graphics as the 4.8s, despite the fact that they cost three times more. I know it sounds silly, but it's enough to make me exclude them from consideration when looking for new pads.

the 4.8's came out with those graphics a year or 2 after the 10.8's came out. One of my friends has the 10.8, awesome pad.

I have the 9.8 pants and they are sweet, the 9.8 c/a its good but I think I'll get the matrix. And for pads I have RBK's but the second best pad I think is the 11.8. And I have a 961 SE, awesome mask.

The 7.8 line is one of the best values out there. Very solid stuff that won't fall apart a month after you buy it. Very protective and nicely designed.
The only item I'm a bit lukewarm on is the blocker. It seems to sit funny on your hand somehow, hard to describe. The pads are the jewels. They are light, rotate well, have a nice soft feel, nice shape to them. The lack of a calf wedge is actually a bonus in my eyes...I don't care for them.
The only disadvantage is the lack of customization and optional colour choices.

For those of you that have special ordered Itech gloves or pads in the past, which store have you chosen? Did you have a positive experience?

Well I just picked up a pair of 11.8 pants from my local store. Ill give it a few more trys before posting a review. The first thing I noticed is the padding, I think these pants are a bit of over kill lol

does anyone know if the 11.8 will be avaliable in prodigy graphics or the prodigy will be avaliable with the 11.8 knee system ( a la the rick)? I really like the look of the prodigys and love the knee system of the 11.8, but the new prodigys look like a solid pad too.

wow, what a great thread...look at all the pics here.
Is there really not that many Itech peeps out there?
Just curious. I could post a pic of my 9.8 pants, but then again you could go to ANY website and see the same pic.
Is there not that many requests for customomazation (is that a word?) for Itech gear?
L8.

I asked a retailer about this and they said most likely but there may be a small upcharge (the retailer never got back to me about it).

Contribute before asking: 9.8 pants and C/A are GREAT buys, and now there even cheaper that theres a new look to it. I dont want anyother pants or C/A. Also I have the 961 SE mask and it is the only one I would ever use.
My Qu is the back straps on the 961 mask, where would one find these to purchase? I did a search and this was the best thread to post this in.
