4 years ago I CUSTOM ordered Med Fusions from Goalie Heaven, I believe...
$900-US- shipped.......
I sold them, baaad idea... Wore UL2 for 2+ seasons, wanted my Fusions back, $1400 is what I was qouted. Are you serious? Thats why I went for the Viper Evos'. $879 for a CUSTOM pad. One season later, I have a new "Kipper" catch, and another new V2, still havent hit $1400 yet...
I love Eagle, I would rob you on the street to pay for them, until I hold you at gunpoint, I cannot afford them. Too bad to.

Since there are so many options, I'm sure that you can request custom strap length. But, I'm just wondering how long the straps are. When I sling my RBK bag over my shoulder, the bag is difficult to walk with because the straps are so long, that the bag is hitting me in the backs of my knees. I'm 5'9". Not the tallest guy out there, but not the shortest, either. Can anyone with an Eagle bag tell me how the strap length is?
Also, I don't see any options for internal pockets or laundry bags. Are these options available?
|
Mercury is a leather-like material and Tonto is more canvas-like. The straps are perfect for me and I'm 5'9", but I use a forward bag. I used it for pants, c/a, skates, jock, jersey and socks plus shower stuff and underwear. I got a small goalie bag for the pads, gloves and mask. That way, the forward bag fits in my car's trunk, and the bigger bag fits my backseat.

Any chance you can post some shots to show what the materials are like ? Also I haven't seen them online anywhere, any idea what the price range on these bags are going for ? I need a new hockey bag as my 6 year old Brian's one has had it, and I may order one if they don't cost an arm and leg to buy. Thanks for you help.

I folks. Im not in the market for new gear until probably March or so. I'm loosing weight and my goal is March 1st or so. Once I reach that goal and to maintain it im going for some new gear. I have plenty to chose from and may stick with Smith.
Do any of you know what size a 16.5 ATK would put me in? Probably a 32 correct.
One last thing, for anyone with +2, could you do a measurement from the middle of the cradle to the top?
Thanks a bunch
Mario

Need your help finding Sentry's
This is my first post on this forum and I have been waiting for weeks trying to get your help. I am located in the states specifically in the midwest and we have NO Eagle dealers around. A few years back my son tried on Sentry's (original 2006 model in an 11" width) and we picked up a set. Well two years later and he has outgrown them. Problem is he doesn't want anything else but Sentry's. We were in London Ont. recently and tried on Sentry 2's and Sentry 3's at the factory. He doesn't like them. If anyone knows of a dealer near them who may have a set of 35 or 36" x 11" wide original Sentry's in White/ Red/ Blue, White/Red, White/Blue or all white please leave me some contact info on whom to contact. You can post the info here or PM me. Thanks for any help you guys can provide me with.

I can't believe how many nice Eagle pieces are on the 'Bay right now, and for so cheap. Blows my mind... wish I had some coin to throw around, as I've never used an Eagle glove/blocker or pad before and would love to try one out.

Sentry 1's
Still hoping the goalie community can come up with some leads. The two big retailers Crease and Heaven have limited stock. Anybody know of someone with more pads on hand? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Eagle will produce the pad you are looking for on a custom basis. Lead times are the second lowest in the industry behind Brown.

Has anyone placed a custom eagle order lately? I'd like to put mine in for sentry 3s but I'm a bit concerned with the vaughn takeover. Went to order today through the hockey shop, they told me that they don't do custom for eagle anymore, and are trying to get rid of all of their stock.
Also, there's no more eagle customizer on the hockey shop website, anyone know where another one is?

Far as I know Eagle goal equipment is no more. If a store still has it in stock that's it. No more custom orders, Eagle goal equipment is now a part of history.

Wow really? I hope not! I've told that the goalie crease is taking orders for custom until january 1st, I emailed them today with my specs but no word back yet. I really hope that's not true, I've been looking forward to sentry 3s for 5 months now!

And that could be one of the last new sets of Eagle we see on this board. Such a damn shame that the line is to be discontinued. Vaughn should rebrand them and just come up with a nicer graphic.
