Here's some more info on these masks.

They look nice but I do not know enough about masks to make an educated guess in terms of performance and such. Let us know if you get one Ant, and of course the review with pics and such.
Hans
ps. oh and Ant, time to get some meat on you man......your arms look undernourished!!!!

Well there are a few options here for this mask company. Either they are ghosted by Warwick, a former employee of Warwick left and started something on his/her own, and lastly they are a deck product for MM through the goalie school.
No matter what it's a Warwick with some tweaks here and there I am sure.

Seemed like you were clowning around, or you were a hardcore Warwickophile!!!.....I think my sarcasm meter is broken.

Scott.
I think it's usually referred to as 'Rip-Stop' nylon. Check with the Sierra Designs folks in Brampton Ont, most of their jackets seem to have it.

It is smooth texture nylon like a 400 Denier.
400 Denier when sold by J. Ennis is sold under the name OXFORD.
600 Denier is likely sold under the name Corintia.
I will send a photo to our fabrics supplier to see if they can identify this!
I just think this diamond texture looks cool!
Thanks for helping...

Yeah that was my first thoughts on seeing them... too much money. Not judging their project at all, but with all those other great products out there for 1/2 the cost there is no way as a consumer they could get me to shell out $1000 for one.

I personally don't see the need to even spend over $400 for a mask... and I'm talking Canadian! (not that there is much difference anymore...)

Ant or anyone else at the show, did they tell you what the mask was made with and what makes it worth the large sticker price?

Sounds like you're a victim of your own mask choices my friend. Based on the shots you see there may not be a need to spend an arm and a leg on a mask, but it should always (in my mind at least) be several levels above what you think you need, just in case. It is your dome after all...
