Jose Theodore
Jose Theodore's new Itech pads incorporate features from the Vaughn 4000 pads he used a few seasons back. You can see the knee built up as well as the shin and the traditional knee strap. This pad looks amazing and hopefully it will bring Theodore back to the level he once played at.

If any other Avs fans out there think a change in equipment will bring Theo back to form, then I can officially say that all hope is lost in regards to that trade.
Plus, he is cowering in the corner in that shot. Does not bode well...

Wasnt this brought up when he switched to ITECH gear (that his pads are masked from his old VAUGHNS)

In Montreal, Theodore used a thin inside knee, thigh and shin. Now in Colorado, he is using a pad with a built up knee, thigh, and shin.

Speaking as a big Aves fan... I live in Colorado... I don't know why we traded for another goalie... we already have 2 great goalies I say bring the guy up fromt he AHL for good... put this guy back down in the AHL till he gets his game back...
As a goalie... hopefully the shock of the trade will be just enouph to push his game over the edge... and hopefully his new pads will not hampter his skills and allow him to perform to what he's capable of...

Stop this Theodore rant!!!
The guy was great for 8 straight years here in Montreal, he didn't break, it's was just a bad streak. Roy had a bad year in 1992-93 and near the middle, everybody was asking for him to be traded. The Habs kept him and what happened, Roy won us another cup and ends up playoff's MVP.
I don't say Theo will do the same, but he's better than a bunch of guys in the NHL and he's not done yet.
