I recieved my V3 7500 Pants today and i love them so far, superb protection it looks like. One down side to me is that the inner thigh seems that it doesnt rap around the leg enough for good inner thigh protection, it bulks up all in the front and too much to the back of the inner thigh. Other than that, they look and feel great.

it actually is horrible lookin pad, it has the iceberg look but it also has the top fangs which ruin it, on top of that the inners of each pad are white which makes it all just poorly designed. puke.

I dont hate it nor do like it. It looks bad at first but I think it has potential. Im thinking it might look o.k. with New Jersey Devil's dark jersey. NOT great but o.k.

Iceberg pads (like Halak's the other night against the Leafs) always make me think the goalie looks like he stepped in two buckets of paint on his way from the dressing room.

I think if you are going to going with an Iceberg set, you gotta get rid of the top swoosh, just have a plain thigh and knee roll like Wardo and Halak have. That being said I prefer Wardo's Iceberg's because they look more like accent's than Halak solid red boot area, again just my opinion.

The pads are navy/black/white I believe, I could be wrong, so the Devils jersey would be out. They would look good with a Blue Jackets or Rangers Liberty jersey.

About the kid with the Custom Velo's.

First of all, it looks like he is going to catch a lobbing puck. Notice where he is looking.
Second of all, so what he has nice pads. I just ordered some nice pads, and I'm only 13. I'm not overly spoiled and my parents aren't wealthy by any means. It's what I love. I don't spend my money in other places. And maybe he just had a growth spurt and grew out of his old pads and his parents felt he wasn't going to have another growth spurt for a while.

Unless anyone knows this kid, stop ragging on him, and admit, those are some sweet pads.
