Second of all, so what he has nice pads. I just ordered some nice pads, and I'm only 13. I'm not overly spoiled and my parents aren't wealthy by any means. It's what I love. I don't spend my money in other places. And maybe he just had a growth spurt and grew out of his old pads and his parents felt he wasn't going to have another growth spurt for a while.

Unless anyone knows this kid, stop ragging on him, and admit, those are some sweet pads.

nobody is overly spoiled if you ask them

The graphics are actually nice and straight....it's just a camera angle.

They look a lot better in person
Not everyone likes to have all white on the inside and I didn't want them to look like all of the V-3 pads that will be out there. I liked to do something different and hence....it is.

I think they look pretty cool. I like the navy weave. It really doesn't matter if I like the graphic or not...you are getting V3's (along with your PSII) and I am jealous

Your a lucky man Paul... have you had them out on the ice yet? If so, how do you like in comparison to your RBK's?

Amazing how function and performance get spushed aside for graphics...

I know. It's just a thing....you either like it or hate it.
It grows on some, like myself. I actually don't mine it at all.

See I love the look of these gloves. If they could've made a pad graphic that was similar to those , then the pads would bangin'! Either way good luck with the set, and as NY said, I too am jealous.

In all honesty gents, this has to be the finest set of gear I have had to date. It is so comfortable. The gloves are perfect...took a bit of getting used to.

I've had V-3 demo's for a while but they weren't the size I wanted...however, they work great! I find that the lateral sliding and backside recovery stuff really works amazing on this updated setup.

Need more time in them. Had them out on Friday night, Sat morning and Sunday. Felt great right out of the box. 2x games tonight, another tomorrow, 1 on Saturday and sunday clinic with Wellsie should help.

Sick looking gear Gasman. Get a Edmonton third jersey and it will look sick.

If anyone wants the V3 pads without the graphic, I would suggest the Vintage V2 Goalie Monkey pads.

From what I can tell, they are almost identical except for the graphic. Both are pro spec 11".

The back of the pads look the same to me but I could be wrong.

Anybody have a review of the new Velo Catcher? It just looks so much like a RBK/Koho, never much cared for those. Just wondering if anyone has tried them out yet.
