Thanks for all who like my gloves, i love them and the more i use the v2 mitt the more i like it. And who ever said whats wrong with the stick, i just hate useing that stick for ice, I painted my inline sticks so i could tell them apart while at school in florida, being full right, i went through 4 in one week and had to wait for sher-wood to mail me more so i was left with no choice but to use a white one on the ice. I actualy find it drives me nuts cause its hard to see being pure white, i like the natural wood color of a sher-wood 9950 anyday over that.

I really think its sweet, the all white paddle, if you have a good five hole I bet you can/do trick a lot of shooters to go there.

Reason I went w/ Vaughn is they make a great product, Dennis there always takes good care of me, and it's right on my drive home from work
did you get them that way from vaughn? or did you take them somewhere to have em shortened?

I ordered them that way. Stock pants are just too long in the thigh for me.

I dont know if you guys can do this, but i was wondering what you guys paid for your custom velos and where you got them from. I was just quoted $1,400(usd) and a 13 week wait from dukes. Here is a list of mods, can you guys tell me which could be causing the "high price"? Thanks( I have never ordered custom pads before)

Sizing: 35+1
Additional Specs:
-Square "Pro" knee wing with smooth black clarino
-Smooth black clarino calf stabilizer (no tiger stripes)
-Pads have "Dudo" embroidered on sides
-Pro logos
-1" added to the Velcro knee lock
-Original Velocity 1 Style thigh boards
-I do not want the thigh boards to extend higher than the goalie pad.
-I want the entire goalie pad black, except for the graphic which is black weave
-The Vaughn logo on the vertical knee roll and the Vaughn logo on the side is white( i was told they can only do the logo on the vertical knee roll in silver or black)
-Fully Squared Thigh Rise

um basically all the mods you listed is what caused the up charge. i know the embroidery right there is $20 (is that right?), pro logos, knee wing, smooth stabilizer, and square thigh rise probably jacked the price up.

they sound sweet otherwise. i dont why theyre gonna take so long, everyone that has recently ordered pads said they were quoted anywhere from 7-10 weeks.

Smooth clarino balance stablalizer and pro logos were free when I ordered mine. I would think the square knee blocks would be free since Duke's gets them standard. I just ordered a completely custom blocker from Dukes (6000 board, Epic sideboard and fingers, Velo palm, pro logos, name embroidering) and the price was reasonable. I was quoted 4-6 weeks.

I believe the upcharge for name embroidery is $10.

I ordered custom gloves from Vaughn 6 weeks ago. Here's what I got:

T5500 Vision
-single T
-pro palm
-bindingless cuff
-1 inch deeper pocket
-no cheater bar
-custom "GOOSE" embroidery
-custom colors (purple, white, red weave)

B7000 Velocity
-V1 graphic
-V1 sizing (so basically, it's a V1, not a V2 in any way)
-bindingless cuff
-name embroidery
-custom matching colors

The upcharges for the glove were like $40 - $50 but since it's exactly the catcher I've wanted for a long time, it's well worth it. I was quoted 6 weeks and should have them sometime late this week, 6 weeks after ordering. I'll post pics then.
