Wow, thanks a lot guys!

I have to give credit to "velo2" for the single break idea -- I know he's a big proponent of this mod and I love it too.

Also to anybody looking at Vaughn pads, I definitely recommend getting at least a +2" thigh rise. Vaughn's stock thigh rises are relatively small, and having gone from +0" to a +2.5" I can tell you that it makes a big difference (in a good way).

If anyone's wondering why I went with a 2.5" thigh rise, it's because I couldn't decide between 2" and 3", and yes I thought it would be cool to be the only one I know with 2.5 .

Thanks again for the compliments!

thanks for the credit geary. I think the single break mod is great for anybody who has the flexibility to close the five hole with it. I know it would be bad for alot of goalies out their but for the blessed few of us who can make it work I think it makes the pad far more comfortable and perform much better.

I actually saw the sickest V3's yesterday but I can't find the picture again.

They were Navy on the outside and white on the inside. Darnit. Wish I could find them again.

I've always preferred the V3s with one tribal stripe. Have only seen WHL goalies with it until the Kings pic.

The thigh rises are thinned out a bit, which is really nice because they overlap easily but are not flimsy. I'll try to take some pictures for you...but I can't promise they'll be up too soon.
Hey Geary, Just wondering when you recieved your sweet pads from dukes, and when you ordered them. I'm just asking because I ordered a customs set of V2's from Dukes in June and still havn't heard anything yet about them.

Halak: To be honest I kinda forget how long it took, I think probably 11-12 weeks? I'll get back to you.

Also, (I posted this in the custom graphics thread but no one reads that so I thought I'd put it here too)

I was trying to make a graphic to match the old school "V" graphic on the Vaughn blockers and came up with this... what do you guys think?

(Boston College colors)

(Michigan colors)

I would like to know what most of you are paying for the different mods your are getting.

1. No break above knee(solid roll)

2. Thick block instead of two lifts

3. +2.5, +3, +4, etc.. sizing.

4. pro palm in catch

How do you guys with the v3 trapper find the closure and break/break in on the Glove?
I got mine about 4 days ago (already heat molded it) and the closure is funky because when I close the glove the T goes the opposite way instead of closing straight or like a 580 glove (curl towards body). I'm a little worried about this, just want to know how I can remedy this or if anyone else has noticed this problem and has fixed it. I'm coming from a 5500 as well if that means anything.
