I got mine about 4 days ago (already heat molded it) and the closure is funky because when I close the glove the T goes the opposite way instead of closing straight or like a 580 glove (curl towards body). I'm a little worried about this, just want to know how I can remedy this or if anyone else has noticed this problem and has fixed it. I'm coming from a 5500 as well if that means anything.
A photo would help!

4. pro palm in catch

2. $0

3. $0

Only thing I got upcharged on was embroidery and mixing around the graphic on my V2s.

I couldn't find anything in black and white about this so I'm going to ask. If you want Velo 3 pads with Velo 2 graphics, the mods you would make are:
-Widen Leg Channel
-High Density Outside (vertical) rolls
-Add thigh flap
Those are the ones that I am 99% sure on. Is the thigh on the Velo 2 squared up? If not, that could be added to the list.

Not sure you can get V3's with V2 graphics yet. you may have to mod your V2's to make them more like V3's

I'm pretty sure that's what he's trying to do -- he's asking what mods he should get on his V2s to make them like V3s.

Murtel - you can simply tell Vaughn to put all of the "V3 mods" onto your V2s, you don't have to specificly list each mod.

i think they have also have buckles sown onto the outside(like kohos), and theyve shortened the gusset lining at the bottom near the boot..

-Iceberg graphic
-Name embroidered
-Higher density side rolls like the v3
-All leather straps
-extra 2" on the elastic strap

You are right, I was asking how to mod a V2 into a V3 but not because I plan on ordering a pair, just because I am curious. I actually just bought a pair of stock V3's a few weeks ago.
