Damn, those are just as think as all the other pads i've tried on. To each their own i guess. I love how much better of a sealed butterfly i can get and how much better of a stance i can get with my C-10's.

not at the 11" stock and i talked to sherwood and it would be about a 300 dollar upcharge for them to make an 11 inch pair.

I posted this in the RBK thread as well, but Sherwood went the opposite direction with their C-12 model. The strayed away from the thin and light thing they had going with the C-10's

V2 catch heat moulding

Have any of u guys had the catch heat moulded i picked up a vertualy brand new non nhl catch but its proving hard to break in and close would the heat mouldin help?

Hey,i dont think they're actually that expensive, they just have it set on that price so people who are interested can place an offer. Once they realize that the offer isnt going to get bigger, they take the best offer they can get, and accept it.

They're six months old (at least) and they're not pro-spec. That whole set could be bought for about $500 cheaper new and in pro spec. That set of gear wouldn't sell on here for more than $1000 and even that would be too much.

It's not that they're priced higher than they should be, it's how ridiculously inflated that high end is.

i'm not sure if this has been discussed becasue i dont stay on top of this thread but are the new vintage pads any good or are they just similar to vaults or a lower end pad

Mike, the outside and inside look thick for the Velo, but it does thin out in the middle...it is probably .75-1" thick there.

there are vintage looking v2's but now they make "vintage" pads, i guess they are vaults with the vintage look
