Be slightly careful with it. the database can be somewhat misleading at times as everyone is doing their measurements individually. The best thing to do is also to call the shop (or go in person) and ask them for their advice.

Not entirely. I placed an order for a custom Velocity 3 pad. The pad will be a combination of the Velocity and Koho 580/590. I have a RBK "Hiller Flex" order on the way as well. I am going to compare the two sets and decide.

The Velo C/A though, is a tank. I like it much better than the epic.

VAUGHN VPG3700 Goalie Pads

i will now stick to VAUGHN goalie pads, thanks to the 3700 series that i have. they're so light that i had speculations they wouldn't offer protection, but i was wrong. before them, i had the MAXI PADS (based on VELOCITY?!).

too bad i had to order the 31 inch, since they (Toronto Hockey Repair) didn't have the 33 inches that i was looking for. can't complain, but after being so used to 12 inch width, it'll take me a while to get used to 11 inch NHL specs rules for goal pads.

vaughn v3 goalie pants

i just got a pair of vaughn velocity 3 goalie pants. I am just wondering for anyone who uses this pant, how is it in durability, performance, and mobility?

If you just bought them couldnt you answer the performance and mobility questions yourself with a couple of ice sessions? As for the durability question, if theyre the V3 pants then chances are theyll be good and durable because vaughn doesnt put the velocity name on crap gear normally.

If you're planning on ordering them like this, just tell the shop you order them from that you want this option. If you're ordering online, I'd reccomend at least exchanging some email with the store to make sure your order comes out right; even if they don't have it as an option in their website, they can probably do it, as it's fairly standard.

If you mean getting that option on an online customizer, to see what it looks like, go to

http://ncw.qc.ca/accesinterdit/anima...esentation.swf

click on "vaughn," then "velocity 2," then "graphic #2" up top. This will make the two slashes separate zones.
