Hey!

I own a pair of Vaughn Velocity 2's, These pads are working well for me so far and i think I'm going to keep them for another season. One of the factors in me deciding whether I'm going to keep my Velocities is whether i can have the "Calf Stabilizers" taken of the calf wing. I've had two pairs of pads before these and found that a flat surface fairs better then a rough surface when trying to slide. I've also noticed that many pro's don't use the "Calf Stabilizer" or the Vaughn "Tiger Stripes".

I've heard of people sending pads to Vaughn to be refurbished, I was wondering if i could send mine into Vaughn to have this done? Or is there a way that i could remove the "Calf Stabilizer" myself? I mean, as far as im concerned there is no black material under my stabilizers.

Thanks

Masa, I'm considering placing an order on those pads with almost the same spec.

If you don't mind, i wanna know how much they were, where you got'em from and how you like them once you've tried them on.

info like that is generally done via PM unless the owner of the pads is cool with publicly posting it.

Guess this goes here....got a new C/A shipped today. The new 7400 from Goaliemonkey. I'm replacing my RbK 6k I got a couple of months ago as the thing is a tank and I got it a size too large for me I think.

This is a medium, btw...I'll try it out monday, but it seems to fit really well and mobility out of the box (bag) is 100x's better already without being broken in.

Maybe a +2 because Vaughn has puny thighrises. (That's up to you though) No graphic on inside calf or knee and all nylon to be black so it doesn't get all yellow and gross. Good luck!
