V3 atcher feels like a pancaked RbK... not a fan. The blocker is AMAZING well balanced comfy and light. I don't think anybody has 8800s yet

I know a lot of people who have the V3 catcher don't love it. The blocker on the other hand is great. Very light and well balanced. Vaughn's best blocker currently on the market IMO. If I were you I'd go with a V3 blocker and 8800 catcher, as it is modeled after the 5500, a great glove.

#20 is correct, bigbadcapitalist was just ****ing with you .
A 36 in Vaughn would be comparable to a 34"-35" Rbk.

just a 35 rbk

however i always wondered- does a 38 vaughn equal out to a 37 rbk? wouldnt you not be able to max out then?

I would guess that Vaughn sizing is larger because Velo's tend to settle after time making them abuot an inch smaller, while RBKs hold up much better after time. It's just the way the pads are made. I have read many places where someone has ordered a 35+4 or a 36+3. I would guess they did that so after continual use they would settle from a 39 to a 38.

No, they're a size smaller... Anyways my guess would be that vaughn has a bit longer boot and it gets bigger past 36 so a vaughn 38 would be like a 37+0+1
