I think it is mainly to make the pads lighter and another reason is to make it look better IMO

Thinner, looks better, and I just like the overall feel of a thinner pad. I don't like big and bulky.

is there anyway to compare a normal pad to a thinned out pad. i already ordered my new pads but im just interested to see the difference, if visual at all?

It makes the pad a bit lighter and thinner pads won't interfere with movement as much. (I think?) It also makes the pad a bit more flexible.

Just curious Ryan, Isn't Nike building you a new pair or whats going on with that? If they are, wouldnt the v3s give you two sets?

just because mY DAD buys my equipment doesnt mean im spoiled! and actually were not even close to rich bud so shut it.. and when i had my one95's i didnt like them as much as the v3's and i didnt really like my stock v3s but im getting alot of mods for them so i might sell my pair thats being made to someone. ok....can you get that thru your head or do i have to use puctuation with you guys? plus im twelve how am i supposed to pay for it ill tell you a paper route wont cut it...so you tell me what i should do until then leave me alone and at least i wont grow up and be a loser tat depends on this great board that us goalies are so lucky to have....
