Jake.t.goalie, those are beautiful pads! Just a question, did anyone say while ordering or did anyone warn that using the V2 leg channel on the V3 might affect the quality or performance of the pad? I'm was thinking of doing the same if i was to get V3's and just wanted to know if they would affect the performance.

And by chance does anyone know of a material that i could ask to be used on the knee wing that would make the pad slide easier? I used to have Xceeds in the past and the pad would float with the slightest push (i liked that), I've had my v2's for awhile now and i find its harder to slide in them. So i was thinking for my next set of pads i could ask for a certain material on the knee wing that would make the pad slide better.

Thanks,
Danish

Danish, the only leg channel mod that would affect the playability vs. design of velos is what I want, 100% open. lots of guys use the v2 on the v3 and to be honest they both feel closed to me coming from RbK but the v2 is too narrow IMO

Go to Lowe's and buy Silicone Spray. Makes pads slide perfectly.

Armor All does the same thing, cheaper and easier.

Man, I don't get you guy's. If I put armor all or silicone on my landing gear I would slide right into the boards. As it is, with with the weave I some times slide a little too far. I have ended up banging up against the post before at the end of my drive to the far side.

Hey at least I got to the post, right. It can turn out bad though if they shot across the grain.

I've read on this board that there is no real difference between the friction provided by the weave versus the regular. Do you Vaughn guy's think that is true.

On the 11th of May it'll be 12 weeks waiting for my V3s... I'm not a patient man.

I have used both weave and regular, and I have to say I can't really feel a difference. And maybe you're pushin a bit too hard? haha, w.e. everyone's different. And I only used Silicone Spray because it was in my Uncle's workshop so I didn't really have to buy it, but I know it works, it just wears off after like 3-4 weeks.

Just wondering if anyone has tried on the V3 and Epic C/A at the sametime? I am looking for one that will wrap the body better as I like to tuck the c/a in. If anyone has tried both of them, you could please PM me and let me know what you thought.

Thanks.
