thanks

Its looks like your leg will be resting against where the straps come out of the pad on the inside part of the leg if you "gutt" the leg channel.

hi, i had a questions about the breaks in the velo threes. if i had them removed, as in a solid outer roll and no internal breaks, how stiff woudl the pads become?
and also in custom orders can you have them thinned out and made with an open rbk style leg channel?

well, if there is no outerbreak, i assume it will almost, if not, be the same stiffness as the rbk's. and yes, you can thin out the pads with a open leg channel. I believe gasman had his vaughn epics made with an open leg channel.
hope this helped,
kevin

Epics
Thanks jcw, I was surprised myself how good they look..its the chance you take when you buy sight unseen. Nobody in the Philly area stocks Vaughn stuff...So i took a chance because i was desperate to rid myself of the RBK besides it was such a good deal i couldnt pass them up....

It's gonna be the same pad just one will say v2 and another will say v3. If he's lucky one wont cost more than the other either

i know, i guess i was just wondering if they finally gave up on trying to force the v3 graphic since a lot of people were just doing v2 with v3 mod.
