I Just bought my son some Jr 7200 gloves and pads to replace his rbk 6k stuff and have 2 questions:

How do you tie the 3 straps for the inner thumb holder on the trapper?

On the leg pads should we use the same amount of knots on the toe ties as we did with his rbk pads?

looking for a v3 blocker solid black

I am looking for a pro spec V3 solid black blocker. I have checked and contacted just about every store plus looked on ebay but no one has any in stock. If anyone has a lead on a store that may have one that would be great.

picked up some used epic pads, as you can tell they are practically brand new, I've only had the chance to test them out in a disastrous pick up hockey game but I really like the way they fit and rotate. Although I think I'm going to ditch the knee locks.

hey i'm getting a new V3 set and am leaning towards all-white, but people tell me that they get marked up really fast and look bad. Is this true? Or should I go with blue on the outside part of the pad?

White nylon will soon get brown and gross. Get some other color for the nylon.

Here are my Smiths, I just got black nylon on them.

You could go all white and clean them like once a month with a Mr. Clean magic eraser. I bought a pack and cleaned one of my old all white white gloves and it looks almost brand new.

I had all white V2's, and all the nylon and canvas material on the outside gusset and on the leg channel turns yellow/brown/black after 1 season. Why not get all the nylon/canvas material a dark colour, then ask for white jenpro.

You can use Mr Clean eraser until you're blue in the face, but when the nylon is all yellow, I don't see the point!

Jenpro is used on mostly ALL goal pads these days.

Alot also use "weave" or "robocop" but its the same thing with a weaved pattern stamped over it.

Is it just me or do the two T5500s pictured above also have different stitching? Check out where the stick notch is (or would be).

Special request

Can someone with a pair of 1-2 seasons old 35+1" Vaughn Velocity 2 pads measure the face of the pads starting from the boot. Please measure boot to ankle break, then ankle break to top of last knee roll then from there to top of the pad. Please send me a PM with all 3 measurements.
Thank you
