also, it's interesting that you're getting a trimmed calf wedge to allow for more flex...but only getting 1 break in the outer roll...?
whats the point in extending the outer leg protection? just adds excess weight.
v3s already have a squared up thigh.

I have had a trimmed calf wedge with the single break in the outer roll. Yes the 1 break does add extra stiffness to the upper portion of the thigh. But the lower break still has it's good flex. Even though the thigh is a little stiffer the calf wedge still catches on the knee wing when flexing the pad, it's more annoying than anything, but it does add some nicer lower flex to the pad when trimmed. I'm sorry if none of this makes sense i'm still drunk from last night. If it isn't clear just ask, and i'll try to clear it up a bit more.

how much was the upcharges for thinning out the pad, changes to the inside guts of the pad, and all leather straps. Dukes told me there were upcharges , just wondering how much.

haha yah that's frew for ya. I played for the huskies for two years, and my coach and frew are pretty good friends. They're hilarious when you get them together.

ok so AVictor you make a good point if he wants the pad to flex like a giggy rbk, but with this kid still growing, there will only be so long until he can no longer use the giggy flex to his advantage because his knee will hit too high in the knee cradle and when that happens, it will be useless.
just my opinion. it's his decision.
