What are you being charged?
I was just curious if people have heard of different upcharges for the same mods in different stores... for example $200 for +3 thighrise in Hockey Store A and $100 for a +3 thighrise in Hockey Store B.
This came up in the "Iceberg" thread earlier.

i would think V1 thigh rise would mean it is tapered. doesn't look like it in the picture from the front, but you can kind of see on the picture from the back.

It depends on the retailer.

No, its coming from Vaughn Canada. They will upcharge 200.00 for anything over a +2. Vaughn USA will NOT UPCHARGE if you keep the pad within a 38" total lenth, IE 34+4, 35+3, 36+2, ETC.

Improved, yet the same . The top flap improves armpit hits, yet i find it a little annoying for movement. To me it still doesn't wrap around enough on the ribs. i still prefer my v2 ( custom) with an extra 2 inches of rib protection that i ordered from vaughn. however, to me the v3, like the v2, still offers unsurpassed mobility, rebound control and protection.

I think it is really good. It keeps a lot of the pucks that nip the ribs from hurting. I agree with what that other guy said though, the armpit flabs do get in the way a bit, but other than that the c/a is really well done. I came from an epic where i felt a lot of stingers, to the v3 where i feel virtually none.
