Since you seemed so concerned, why didn't you simply answer the question? You've only been a member for a few months, and even then you should know how it works here. Goats has figured it out, and is doing a right job of it.
In regards to the pro palm, as Goats said it is entirely personal preference. Do you tend to catch most pucks in the webbing, or have it deflect off the palm (like I do). if the latter, get a pro palm for sure. Be warned, though, pro palms can make it a lot harder to close the glove and take much longer to break in.

C'mon kids, no need for fighting.
There are lots of threads on pro-palms and lots of information in this thread on them too.
Personally, I try to catch the puck in the webbing, not in the palm. Just my preference though

its not the point of how it works its retarded you can ask a question and have 15 people say do a search when 12 know the answer, who cares really, alot of people act like asses for no reason at all, if someone at the rink asks a question do you tell them to go home and do a search, i doubt it. half the time you can search all you want and come up with nothing. another thing is you guys dont want to keep filling threads with pointless crap but just about every one is loaded up with personal conversations about crap any way so who cares.

i used a full set of V3's tonight for the first time ever. i was very impressed with the pads, happy with the gloves. when i order my next set i don't think i'll get either of those gloves but they weren't terrible. the palm of the blocker felt a little small, and i don't have big hands. my middle finger was a little long for the glove and my finger tip was bent a little pushing into the mesh cap on the finger. it was noticeably annoying the sidewall seemed a little bit flimsy aswell. the sidewall on my SE2 feels like its built quite a bit stronger. the glove.. i guess is just a V3 glove. most people dont like it. it seems like it would be alright after using it for awhile, but even still, i'm not going to put in that effort when i already know of other gloves that will feel VERY good after much less use.
i did love the pads though. the knee stacks are piled pretty high. the leg channel felt nice. it was great to get myself into a pair of thigh boards again. the boot is a lot shorter than my SE3 pads which i liked a lot. just an overall solid pad. probably my next set

Hey. Does anybody know if vaughn is backed up or not. i ordered a set some 3 months ago and it will only be here (they say) by early august. the rumour is they are backed up some 26 or so weeks. if someone could confirm that or get the truth that would be awesome.

Yes I believe they are, I order a custom pair of V3 pants at the start of May and was told they'd arrive end of June/1st week of July(8 weeks). Called the other day was told they should be in the begin/mid of Aug. I was kind of hoping ordering the 1st of May, I'd get the order in before the pro orders were in during the summer. I highly doubt they're back up 6 months, like you were told. Just a few weeks.

I'm sure they are a little backed up as the offseason is the time people order new gear

I ordered mine about 8 weeks ago, and there ETA is 8/19. They then told me that that date will be pushed back about 10-14 more days because all pro orders are started on August 1st. So I hopefully will get them before September 1st.

hey i just talked to vaughn yesterday because my pads were supposed to be here 2 weeks ago. The stuffer for the pads is actually on vacation, he will be back soon, so the pads should come in next week sometime.

I played in the 90-91 division with the Winnipeg Icemen. We should have been in the 92 division though because most of our guys were 92s, me included.
