Thanks. I was looking into some of these for next year, and hear it might have lighter arm protection...

If you can wait 12 weeks, I would definitely buck up for the extra piece of mind.

Well my P1's are still working, I just took one off the collar bone near the end of this season, and it's my 4th season with them, plus the arms are too wide, so I figure its about time to replace them. But they should be alright for 12 weeks.

Also everytime I go to look down it pushes my mask up on my face really far. And when i go down it seem to move up really high on my shoulders. anyone have any sujestions to help me with thses problems?

Just picked up a medium 8800 C/A today from Sports Etc, real solid unit. We'll see about arm stingers tho, probably won't be much of a problem from what I see of it but I've heard things about arm stingers. Was going between this and a v3 7500 but the epic felt too good. Overall I'm pretty impressed with it. I'm coming from a v2 small that I've had for 4 years so it's certainly an upgrade. Love the side protection on it as well.

to all the guys who have been talking about the epic c/a and problems i feel your pain. Yes turning ur head sucks in it, i had mine for 2 years and i wore it down and still had no luck. And yes i got so many stingers in the little area i had 3 bruises on top of each other and i finally got sick of it. Not only did i have to tape all my arm straps because they always came loose but i just couldn't handle all the stingers and the poor movement. SO

Here i am in a brand new V3 chest and loving it. To make it feel more like a Epic i moved the adjustable shoulder pads all the way down which also freed up the space for my mask to move around freely even with a neck guard dangling down. i have yet to get a stinger in any area and all of my straps are holding up great. I also think i look a lot bigger in the net with the new V3 on yet it feels just like the Epic. It was a great switch and to anyone currently in a epic id recommend trying on a V3 because it will b a whole new world for u.

GO V3

Hey is anybody else who has a 8800 afraid of getting a puck in the left and right part of the chest just past the floaters ? because there is usally something to stop it like on the v3 there are these orange flaps .
