Vaughn Velo 7000 C/A

I tried to search but seems like there's not much on it.
Any input on the 7000 C/A? Am I wasting my money?
The V2 sells for close to $400 @ GM... must be a pretty good piece of equipment. Big difference between a V1 and a V2?

Any advice would be appreciated.

well then go to your local hockey shop, buy a longer strap, and replace it.

Just thought I'd give a little update. This is what Jorg posted in the Vaughn Hockey group on facebook:

"Hi guys, we are taking up to 18 weeks to pump out custom pads, which is now down to 15."

Can you ask him if this time is also for custom pants ? When I ordered mine the end of April I was told 8 weeks for pants, as they're made alittle quicker then the other gear. It's going on 13 weeks next week. I just want to make sure I have these in time for when hockey starts the last week of Aug. Thanks

Sure thing, let me wait until he responds to my question first, as I do not want to bombard him with questions.

I ordered a set of V3's at the beginning of June and today, Jorg at Vaughn told me that they just started making my gear. Is this normal or is it being delayed? Dukes told me that they were due mid August.

Sounds pretty normal, call Dukes if you're concerned.

Well I'm pretty sure it doesn't actually take them 15 or so weeks to finish a set of pads. I don't know when they'd start making them usually though.
