Whoo-Hoo!!-Kinda.

The Hockey Shop just called yesterday to tell me my pads and blocker that I ordered back in the beginning of June were in, (earlier than I thought) but the trapper will take two more weeks. Will the torture never end!

Does anyone know if vaughn will remove the inside tribal strip from the pad?

The one that is different colour in that set. Im looking at a 2 colour set of V3s. It works 10 times better without the inside strip. If so is there an upcharge?

Thanks guys

they will do just the outside strip, there are several pictures of a set like that somewhere in this thread. i wouldn't think there would be an upcharge, its just a custom color.

The strip will still be there, it's part of the mfging process, all the dies are cut then sewn in. If you order it the same as the base colour it will be all but transparent, but the lines will still be there.

i think that he means if they can just leave the strip off the pads. as you can see in the picture the outside strip is a different colour then the inside strip but they still the the middle one on and there are little openings in the colour because of the middle strip.
