Which color combo is this? w/b/s or b/w/s?

I think it's w/b/s. the pads that match that combo are mostly white then black then silver so that'd be my guess

i know this is the vaughn thread, but if you have any more pics would you mind posting them. also, how stiff are they? it would be cool if you could take a few carpet/ghost-fly pics when you get a chance. thanks

Hey, sorry but I sold the Weekes pads. They were fairly stiff, but extremely light. I am sure we will meet again in the playoffs, and then you can take a look at the V2s
Are you going to be at the Vineland showcase? If so, I will see you there.

Just placed an order for a new pair of Velo 2's to replace my size 35 Velo 1's.
Went with an all navy pad - except for the swirl area which is white and some of the trim pieces which will be silver. Same color scheme as I have now, but more navy.
The 34 inch fit perfectly in the store so I added a +2 thighrise to close the five hole. Also went with the square landing gear.
Now...I wait.

my new gear has finally come in!!! after all the problems. 5 week wait for absolutely wrong pads then a 2 week wait which was excellent.
didn't get the pro logos i wanted on the pads and i didnt get the open leg channel either, the colours are all there, the knee stackers are held in by velcro it has one solid outer roll with a break in the knee, all leather straps, tapered toe, squared up top, no stripes on the stabilizer bad, squared knee piece, "jesus" on the pad, pro foam in the pad which is lighter and stronger cause i'm a shorter guy +2 thigh rise
the glove is pro transfer, with a deeper pocket and reinforced palm, double t.
the blocker is standard except for the custom graphic.

V2's available
I make get in troble for posting here, but I figured the Vaughn crowd would be my best shot.
I NEED a newer V2 or perhaps an Epic if somebody can convince me to try in a 35 or 34 + 1 or anything comparable. Mostly white, and some red perferred.
I see so many nice V2's here, and I recently abandong my V1's only to be disappointed in Vectors.
I still have my V1s for trade and a nearly brand new set of all white 35 +1 Vectors if anybody wants to try them out.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Use your V1s. There are almost no differences from the Velocity 1 to Velocity 2, and the ones that are major (calf stabilizer, cut "ankle channel")you can mod yourself. And post in the right forum.

The open leg channel is quite different from the stock one. If they messed this up and you wanted it (or are not happy with what you got), you should return them and make them do it right.

I'm with you Matt. I'm also on the hunt for some new V2's.
I can't afford new ones so I have to get used. The one's that I've found that I like, the owners would rather take two nails in the head then give them up.
Can't say I blame them really.
Plus, it seems like most of the Vaughn Velos I see have red in them. Where's the love for blue??

I know there is not too much differnce, and that is why I am looking to slightly upgrade my V1's. I have all the confidence in the world, but would like something a little newer and with some red in them.
Thanks for the info though.
