As far as the 07 V-3....I'm betting that we got an early preview when the Ward pads were posted....not so much the pad though.....

New graphics on the V3's are more like the Brian's Beast pads rather than the 3700 line.

my dad has all silver v2's and used to use an XP custom trapper (almost new FS, laced with skate lace)

Are you quite sure that the V-2s have those top and bottom lines? I don't think so. They both start at different angles and have a different pattern to them. As well, look at the stitched patterning on the main face of the pad, it is different. Me thinks we got an early preview of the V-3 pad right there. In any case, if they didn't change the pad all that much, then great. In reality...the pad itself is excellent as is. A few tweaks here and there just like Lefevre would do. It makes sense. It's one of the most copied pads for a reason. It works well.

Could someone with a stock 35" Velocity 2 pad get me 4 measurements?

I need the toe of the pad to the ankle break. The ankle break to the first knee roll break. The first knee roll break to the last knee roll break. And finally, the last knee roll break to the top of the pad.

Also, please look at these three gloves. The first blue/white glove is my old stock glove that I love. The second is a Mike Wall Pro Return. The 3rd is stock, I believe. To me, the first and 3rd are very similar. The Mike Wall Pro Return seems different to me. Maybe it's the angle but the break looks different perhaps or maybe it's the nash palm or maybe it's the thumb looks different. What are everyone elses thoughts?

Runners,

My personal opinion on the gloves is that perhaps there are differences because of pro sizing, break-in style, and maybe camera angle. I've used umpteen different 5500's and variants and and have found the break angles to be virtually the same on all of them. The main differences I find come in how the edge of the palm area is broken in. Some choose to curl the fingertips in for a more controlled catching surface and perhaps more stick grip, while others just leave the area flat and try for a larger surface area. Sometimes this affects the way the break feels, but I personally don't believe there are that many different break angles on the glove through the years to be significantly different from one year to the next, as you might find with the Koho 560/570/580/590/RBK.

My two cents from my experience. The 5500 is my glove of choice, BTW.
