Vaughn Vision 3700 Leg Pads
Since this is a Vaughn thread I am hoping to get some feedback on some leg pads that I am considering. I am looking at getting the Vision 3700 2006 models. Has anyone had any experience in using these pads? I play in a rec league so I don't think I will ever need top of the line pads but I do want some decent pads that will last for a few years and quality made. Does anyone know if the 3700's are made in Canada or in China? Also, I play a hybrid style so I am not sure what style these pads are made for although the Vaughn rep I spoke with said all of their pads are hybrid pads. Any feedback anyone can give me is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have a picture of an old catalogue maybe or something with a picture of the custom graphics that were available on the 5500?
Thanks!

Wow, those are beauties. In the first pic, it kind of looked navy blue on my comuter (which looks pretty sweet), but I'm diggin' the black and yellow.

Kold - Hows the all-quick-release set up treating you so far? Any over-rotation issues?

Hey,
I actually just put the clips on over the weekend and will try them out in a game tomorrow. I've wrapped the nylon cord on the male side with hockey tape so they stay in position and have a bit of grip to them. Based on my trial carpet fly after switching the straps, looks like i have the rotation perfect. I'll test them out in my next game and report results

I forgot to mention I switched to nylon with quick release on my velo 1's. I"ve used them three games. First game they were a bit too loose, but after I tightened them a bit they have been fine. I don't really notice the difference except when putting them on or taking them off.
Either way no rotation issues at all

theres a few but minor changes.. the knee area is the first, the outside of the pad is now synthetic to give you a better slide on ice (stock have stabilzer bars that much order custom and dont get) a few minor changes to the leg channel with the addition of a calf wedge type peice, again for a better slide really, and a few minor changes with the strapping set ups. thats basically it
