Rbk Leg Channel question???

Ok so i know that there is a RBK thread and I didnt do a search on this but i am scared to considering i would probably get more hits then thought possible. So here is my question. The RBK pad has a shallow leg channel, well pretty much nothing, well my freind said that he ordered his with a deeper leg channel, but still the same pad overall. I am wondering if anyone has heard of or seen this before and if they can tell me the pros and cons of the shallow ones to the deep ones my freind has. Thanks alot

Your friend is a liar. Michel Lefebvre is quite fond his leg channel, rightfully so.

No need to be afraid of the search button, he is your friend.

Seriously though, the only mods you can get from Rbk are the pro knee block, 580 break on the glove, no nash, name embroidering, sizing, and colors. And those are all basically at the whim of the manufacturer.

RBK wouldn't do that mod for ANYONE. Even NHLers.

i got +1.5 inch on the T of the 580 trapper with no nash. i dunno if my order for bindingless blocker made the cutting room floor.

Chances are it didn't.

I spoke to one of the guys at the custom dept at RBK and they don't do mods like that.
Here's some examples of what they WON'T do for anyone:

-bindingless blocker
-anything that changes the physical structure of the leg pads
-open toe on RBK pads
-offset T on catcher (apart from pros)
