I love my eddy pro. i like the weight, balance, etc. for being a skinnier guy, this mask fits my face perfect (hackvas are for a bit rounder heads). The two things I didn't like about my eddy pro are the sweatbands and the chincup. Swapped em out with my hackva, and now it is much much better. I recommend the hackva chin cup, it fits much better.

The chin cup on my Eddy CK didn't feel right for me either. I tried flipping it upside-down and it feels much better. Give it a shot, it may work for you. Also, did you try using a different hole on the chin cup strap? That will move the chin cup closer/farther, whichever you need.

All, I need some advice. I'm refurbing an Eddy Kevlar and I've gotten to the stage where I need to pad it.

I know I can get foam from THR in Toronto so I'll probably do that next time I'm heading out to a Jays game. My problem is more that I can't figure out what the best pattern to cut my foam would be. I've never owned an original Eddy mask and have always refurbished them, so my foam placement was pretty haphazard and didn't always fit very well. Can anyone recommend a good shape to cut the foam to get good results?

Also, what density and thickness of foam would be the best bet for this job? I'm mostly concerned with a tight fit since my other Eddy masks always tended to 'rattle' around a little. This is a Medium Eddy versus the Large masks I already own so I'm hoping that helps a little.

Any advice you can give would be appreciated, thanks!

Eddy Tusk Tyke

My daughter just recieved your Eddy Tusk mask. We tried a couple of masks and this one fit the best. The Itech 1200 youth was to small while the next size up was way to big. The Eddy Tusk size tyke is right in the middle of the Itech youth and junior. My guess is that she should be able to get atleast two seasons of adjustment out of the mask.

I just got my second Eddy mask. A GT Ultimate. Great mask, hate the chin cup, hate the sweat bands. I had the same problem with my last eddy. I took the chin cup out of my old Van Veldon and put it into my old Eddy. Well, the chin cup is so old and nasty there's no way I can put it in the new mask. I'm going to replace it with an Itech chin cup and sweat bands. I wear a long thick goatee (ala Trevor Kidd), and the Eddy cup just doesn't cut it.

I just got my mask painted by Doug Wager at Weasel Head,. He did an amazing job. He called my mask "the sentimental junk drawer of my mind"

Ultimate or not??

I need some help. I know, it seems obvious but I juts want to be sure before giving s*** to someone.

I bought a mask on eBay. I was told it was a Eddy GT Ultimate (the GT Ultimate is reinforced with kevkar while the GT is not... right?)

I received the mask and on the sticker it is just written Eddy GT, no "Ultimate" anywhere. To me, it is pretty obvious that it is not a GT Ultimate. So I guess I'm right...

Is the white Eddy tag still on the inside? It should say there and I think the Ult has triangular vents while the reg GT doesn't. Check the Eddy website, you can see both models and differences there. I have the ULT and it's got the info and date of production on the white tag inside.

The sticker says MODEL: Eddy GT (sm). No "Ultimate" anywhere.
And the vent holes are round, not triangular.
I just wanted to make sure I was right before getting back to the seller.
Thx!

Anybody selling a Eddy Cats eye cage? I guess a Dillon Mask requires one. I have one with a certified cage. I was told they use Eddy cages.

can anyone tell me what the differences are between the Custom LT, Pro, and Custom Kevlar are. I've emailed the company but didn't really get a straight answer. They all seem fairly similar, but pricing varies.
