New Vectors

I'm new to the bb and wanted to drop a quick hello to everyone. I just picked up a new pair of 37" Vector 6.0. I tried them for the first time tonight. I'm thinking of getting the senior Blockade trapper to match. Any suggestions would be great.

Yes you're right, but the Matrix 2 are Gatekeeper knock-offs with no kneerolls, more flex and I don't know how much more differences.

basically all ******* products are just copies of someone elses work.

More new gear?

Why aren't the CCM pads more popular on this board?

CCM has loads of goalies that use their gear in the NHL (granted the gear that most of them use differs greatly from retail) and they're a part of The Hockey company who obviously know how to market and sell gear (*cough* RBK *cough*).

What are your thoughts peeps?

Personally, I haven't liked any CCM gear since the CCM 10. I don't like the feel of any of the new stuff and, frankly, it's sort of ugly.

I have a GK glove and blocker that I like. They're both huge and quite protective. However I just bought a set of Summits and I love those, the GK are in the backup gear bag.

I tried the Vector Pro pads in store and I liked them a lot. They were just the right overall size (I tried the 35+1) but my knees weren't in the middle, I think I would have fit in a 32 or maybe more a 33. The feel was good, and the flex was good. I would have need a higher top strap to make them bend a bit more when in butterfly.

I didn't liked the gloves that much but I really like the Vector graphic.
