I've decided to add +n sizes, if for no other reason than the fact that it gives us a little more information about what people are wearing above the knee.

Masked - I had you in mind when I added the McKenney heading.

Hounsy - I was going to add Jackson initially, but because I couldn't recall anyone actually owning them, I skipped it. Nice to see someone actually does have a pair.

Becca - Same thing with Prism.

You can only do this with "STOCK" pads not "CUSTOM" as it is also not needed.

"+" sizing is based on additional inchs over "STOCK" models only.

Unless the CUSTOM pads is based on STOCK models you can't compare.

If you want to know the THIGH RISE then say so. This is different then "+" sizing.

This not a "STUDY". I don't think anyone is claiming that it's remotely scientific.

It's a useful attempt to collect qualitative information on pad sizing

And look at it this way - someday you'll be able to lambaste people for not doing a search on pad sizing / ATKs.

This is a great idea but very inaccurate.

MOST companies provide a size sheet in their catalogue or are available online so if we are going to compile a database it would be best that you look at the source of the gear before the customer.

I say this because not everyone is going to measure the EXACT same way and it will skew the results. Not only that some of the contributers here are still growing and if they were fit properly they are likely not in the centre of the knee cradle which is the VITAL component when sizing.

Furthermore the plus sizing is very obscure. From a stock size EVERY company has a different rise in measurement as well as a different knee length.

Just my thoughts.
