I had no idea the contest was that long ago.

That really sucks. Hopefully James will make things right.

I haven't been on here in about 3 months or maybe more. I did get behind on some orders.......and had to push some things around.....and ofcourse the things that get bumped are the favours and prizes that I give out on my forums and contests.

I haven't ran a contest for some time for that reason as I have alot to catch up on. My current customers are delayed a few days or even a week or so, and I'm trying to get some things that should have been done a while back.

I had a pair of pads actually go missing with Canada post......which meant I had to rebuild a set.......that puts a damper in production schedules......I also have a set of pads I have to rebuild because the customer said they had a 20" ATK, and as it turns out, they infact have a 18" ATK. Technically I shouldn't have to stand by that kind of error on the customers part, but I do......to keep customers happy.

All is well here in Viper land, and my customers are getting their equipment, albeit some may be a little late........others such as the free prizes are unfortunately getting a back seat, and I appologize for that.

I don't like being behind or having a screw up on my gear, but just as I have always done, I stand behind my product and will make sure the customer is happy.

Please don't group me with some others who have screwed their customers or not been responsive to their customers. Just trying to keep up means I can't get on here as often as I should. I put a toll free number on my site so people can always get a hold of me. Emails sometimes go unopned for a few days....or get caught up in SPAM filter......so if in doubt about something......Call me......Customer service is why I am still in business after 10 years.

James

I as a customer who also screwed up my atk can stand for James need and want to make sure his customer is happy. He will do what it takes and unfortunitly it does get in the way of getting other products out on time. But in the end, we all end up happy as pigs in s**t.

With that being said, James I want to say, I have desided to stick with the set I got from you instead of selling it. My problem was not the pads, but how I had the boot straps set. As for the pads I have to send back to you, I am still looking for work so I can pay for the shipping.

Best wishes my man, hope all is well with the new addition.

Cheers.

I used to live in woodstock where the gear is made. I remeber going to a viper camp when i was younger and even seeing the gear on a local jr.C goalie a few years ago.

i've been waiting over 11 weeks for my custom set and i just got an email last week from james saying that he's getting started on them.
as much as i hate the wait, i'm sure the finished product will be worth it.

Has anyone received new Viper gear lately?

I really like the look of James' gear but there isn't a lot of pics out there.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Just recently (haven't played more than 2 times since end of April due to no ice) my BOA's boot split open at the break on my left pad... total seam failure, exposing the foams.

I have worked my boot in pretty good to soften them up over time, so this is most certainly a significant factor in this. Not blaming the mfg at all, James put the pad together beautifully. It won't be too difficult to repair myself, but just saying to people who have stiff boots and try to work them in to be softer... be careful.

I'll post pics of the repair job once I get around to it.

James posted a few months ago that he would be shutting it down due to the low traffic and the need for him to concentrate on his gear. He also mentioned that with it, the online store would also close. You can still order gear from him, but all in stock and demo gear would be sold only through his Ebay store.
