Any idea if you can get the flatbar on a Razor?

The cage is shown right on the Sportmask Website in the T3 section and called "optional". Maybe it has just recently become optional as I only asked for it a few weeks ago to be added to the mask.

I asked just over a month ago. When I bought my first T3 I asked for it and they said no problem. When I recieved it, it did not come with it. And then when I reordered another one from another store, they said that it was not available.

This is my mask, and I have tested it out with sticks.
Only the butt end of a stick could go through the eye openings on a cheater cage, a blade cannot (unless there is significant wear making the blade much thinner than normal)
The only area on the cheater that a stick blade could get in is if the stick came in at the exact angle diagonaly from the middle horizontal bar, to the lower side where the bar in front of the mouth bends.

Every time I see Hounsy's mask (A-Team) I think of the A-Team toy commercial jingle....

"We're the A-Team, we are soldiers of fortune.
We're the A-Team, helping people in need.
You can pretend that you're Hannibal, Murdoch or Face
Or maybe B.A. Baracus,
You know each one is an ace.
Each is sold sepreately, with rifle and gear,
When there's trouble to face you know the A-Team's here!"

Am I lame or does anyone else remember this jingle and commercial?

I thought according to your TPS review, the Itech 960 was too much money...

My New T3

nothing major - a nice mask and WAY lighter than my Itech 961 Pro

A BIG thanks to Alex at Duke's for some great customer service! Thanks a million -

Mage replacement cage

Love my mage (got last summer), but I've been getting quite a few pucks (seemingly more than usual) at my head. The cage/mask has held up but it looks like I might need to have a replacement ready. The cage has a couple of good "bends" and one of the welds looks like it's cracked (just happened last night). I did a web search and haven't seen it anywhere. I've emailed hockey geeks (they sell the Mage) and Sportmask today. Any other advice (besides quit using your face to stop the puck) to finding a replacement cage?

Thanks. I got a reply from Hockey Geeks and can order from them too. I also got a reply from Sportmask and they would like me to send them a pic that shows the weld damage.

Sportmask

Sportmask handles themselves very well. Back up their products 100%.

They handled my cage dilemma efficiently. Very happy with Tony and Jennifer.

Do any of the Toronto area dealers have Mage II helmets in stock? I would really like to try one on before purchasing.
