I didn't want to have to resort to asking here, but I am so frustrated. This is the last thing before I submit my order as all other mods requests have been sent in.
I was originally going with a Speed Racer theme (white pads, large red "M"), but I couldn't think of how to carry the theme over to the gloves. My only ideas were a red/yellow number "5" (a la side of car) on the blocker with white background and a white catcher with red trim and the homing pidgeon design "flying" into the glove. I just wasn't real sure about the gloves, so I decided to put it on the backburner and make a custom design (see below).
My son and I came up with one (see below) and it has received decent feedback, but now I just can't find a color pattern I am happy with (although my daughter's idea of black-neon green-neon pink was cool, the last two aren't available
). I am open to just about any colors (except Retro tan/brown) which makes it even harder. My team is blue/yellow, but I don't really care about matching them. Out of frustration, I have decided to give the Speed theme another go, even considering Racer X, but there is even less to work with there.
Can ya'll offer up some Speed Racer theme idea for the gloves (preferred), or possibly even some color combos for the pads?
