Height and inches for some reason vary from pad to pad and brand to brand.

Stiff pads (i.e. Blockade) OR any that isn't "s" shaped broken in seem to fit extremely tall.

The lack of a foot break (& shallow boot channel) is also a huge factor.

I noticed this in a shop yesterday as I compared my 40" pads all bended up to a set of 36" Blockades. They were roughly the same height. The 40" pad was only about 1" taller.

35+1 V2's. They run small, so they are equivalent to my 34+1 rbks. I know they will shrink a little bit over time but for now they seem perfect. Also, they are all black, so they look humungous because of my black pants. Chris#33

Just a little extra

I had 35+1 V1 and went to 36+2 V2. Really notice the difference (prefer the new ones, but still adjusting). Could be that the biggest difference is the time on the pads, though. the V1s were nicely broken in, and the V2s are just starting to get there. BTW, I stayed with the Velos, because of complete uncertainty on how sizing would really work out after a bit of time in the pads. I hate learning to live with new stuff, but just can't resist! Freaking hor....
