I might make pad covers in the future if a lot of people ask about them, otherwise it's just on a per order basis.

Here's another picture of the blocker, my embroidery person isn't available any more and I am trying to find a new person to do it now, so that has set me back a little. I will be sewing the shell together soon and assembling the sidewall. I would like to stitch the PAW logo on the front tonight also.

I find all of this very cool. A regular Joe, or Jane in this case, making cool looking gear at a highly skilled level. I once made a blocker out of a winter glove, a scrap piece of plywood and brown felt, all pieced together with a staple gun. Lasted two games in the street. I sucked at making gear.

Your stuff looks great Sarah, all the best.

Just curious: Are the quick release buckles that Sara uses Plastic? Acetal? Nylon?

ITW Nexus acetal buckles... they were the only ones that survived shipping when I was receiving samples. (and it wasn't because they were the only ones that came in a padded envelope!) They also have held up the best on the ice.

Sara's got my CM9's right now. Adding Jenpro knee wings, adding an additional knee stack, and (this is the big one) - lining my knee lock flap with gel. I'm really looking forward to seeing the mods completed, and can't wait to get on the ice with the pads when this is done.

EDIT: Just got a PM from Sara telling me the mods are done. Not going to share the pics...yet...but I can not wait to see the mods in person!

Just got my CM9's back and WOW! The pictures do not do it justice. Top notch work.

Added jenpro knee wings:

Added a knee lift AND gel to the inner flap of the knee cradle.

Can't wait to get these pads on the ice!

Got my knee lifts last week. Exactly what I wanted, very fast responsive service making a quality product. If I'm ever afforded a break my pads are going to PAW for a refurb. Thanks again.

How's that blocker going Beccaraptor? Gonna do a review for us and let us know if you'll be making more? Do I ask too many questions? You can PM me if you don't want to talk about the binness in the thread.
