Cute, they had the old Supreme-style reversed-colours scheme applied to the Vapors. I rather like that.

My turn to contribute: J.S. Aubin's former and seriously whacked-out Supreme SEs. Note for starters the rounded boot, open toe with a cap (bizarre), squared landing gear, and clean calf-wing. They also appear to twist even more than normal Supreme pads, to the point that they're actually *concave* in the shin.

With my NXI Phantom, Vaughn 7070 blocker and Int. Bionic trap:

Close-up, worse lighting:

Inside leg and landing gear:

Leg channel (including bulletproof calf protection):

I should also note that I strap them differently now. Top strap is very tight, and goes through its intended buckle. The next one down is doubled through the top-calf strap's buckle (ie. two straps into one buckle) to keep it out of the way. I'm intending to replace all the calf-straps with quick-release nylon, and to remove at least one of the bottom three straps (which I suspect are somewhat redundant).

How's that stick working out for you? I'm looking at that as a possible replacement for my sherwoods that are on the verge of destruction.

Can you order a pair of Vapor XXX skates with the white Tuuk cowlings? If so, is there an upcharge? Thanks.

Alex, i have a pair of the xxx pants and the best way to break them in is just wear them. Honestly i couldnt think of anything other than that to aid in the break-in. It must have taken 3 weeks to get them feeling loose, even playing jr hockey.

Having never used a Carbon-Fiber goal stick, is the wear pretty good compared to a traditional wood stick?

One thing that made me laugh is that the local proshop ordered 4-5 of the VaporXX righty goal sticks and none for the "regular" goalie. I bet some Bauer rep laughed on his way home about that one

I just picked two up of the xx sticks because my sherwoods died. The lye and the curve were really really close to my 9950's (theodore pattern)

What I have noticed is that the area where your thumb and index finger go is pretty slippery, so I've put some tape there. Also, coming from a wood/foam core stick, I've noticed that shots of the blade of the stick (i.e when in a butterfly) are a lot more lively. It'll take some getting used to so I can control those better.
