I don't know why, but I agree with this. I'll buy one either way, but I'd prefer without the GSBB.

oh, i posted in another thread that it would be too specific and it would be hard to sell outside of the board. Also i dont want people asking all the time.

forget selling it outside the board, the GSBB community is getting together to help a GSBB member, he's basically already said that he would donate the funds to a charity of his choice.
as i said before, we want people to donate because they want to help Jim out, not because they want a chance to win a pair of gloves.
edit: as i said before, put me down for 6 patches. i'm thinking one on the inside of each thigh rise on my pads. and i got about 4 jerseys i use normally.

Wow, how many people have me on ignore? I still don't understand why no one wants to put the grey ribbon on it... it would be classy, simple, and outspoken for the cause in which we are raising the funds for.

I agree...
I agree with the removal of the GSBB from the patch. The real issue is solidarity for Jim in his time of need, not a advertising opp.
Also, any chance it can be a real patch rather than an iron-on decal? I'd be willing to pay more for the patch if that's what it would take.

from what i understand it's a stitched iron on patch, so you can just iron it on and have it stitched to be more secure.
although i may be wrong, read the other thread also

Hahaha... there I am. Merry freakin' Christmas to you too, haha.
Well to be honest, I don't really care too much about the details, as long as this gets going, because it is the best thing we can do as a group. This is something we can all do to help, and as soon as it's going, I'm on board for 2 patches.
I personally don't need gloves, and even though Scott's gloves are amazing, I think if we are to raffle off the glove based on a draw by patch orders, the GSBB should be removed to widen the scope of the raffle. It sure would be nice to keep the gloves in the community, but let's step back and think about how we can raise the most money for the cause instead of who gets the gloves.
