Those R6's look fantastic, it's hard to tell without seeing a pad but the quality looks very impressive. With any luck these will be in the RBK 8k price range. I love new gear....

The R8s are around $1200 and the R6s are around $700-$750 from everyone I've heard from. That's coming from about 4 different stores though.

As for the chromed buckles, as mentioned they've been doing that since the Xceeds. Not only does it looks great, but it's actually a great feature. Helps prevent buckle breaks from happening as frequently.

Where did you get those? I was under the impression from TPS in Canada that the R4/R6 line was only going to be in the dreaded OTT/VAN/LA color schemes again.

Placed my order for a set of Lundy Xceed Pads and Gloves today.

Here's what I requested:

Lundy Pads:
-Size 36+2
-No Name embroidery (no LUNDQVIST or my name)
-Knee Pads from the R8 pads

Lundy Blocker:
-No Name embroidery

Lundy Catch Glove:
-No Name embroidery
-Beefed up palm with HD plastic plate

I figured since the Lundy Xceed pad is basically an R8 pad I might as well get the knee pads. The beefed up palm in my catch will make it so I can't close the glove (no matter how hard I try - believe me, I've tried one on, couldn't do it by dropping a boulder on it lol).

EDIT: I actually need to call tomorrow to change the pads to a 35+3 because I'm inbetween a 35-36 and can just add the boot riser if I feel the 35 is too small.

Anyone have some thoughts on how a lundy xceed pad will look with a R8 graphic?

Maybe some guy/girl with super duper skills on photoshop could make it?
