I've had my stay trix st-2 for getting close to a year now and I love it. Great mask for all the reasons stated above.

Since when is it unethical to try to make a living? Stace has a good product and the personal fortitude to answer questions about it and somehow he is critized for it? Leave the guy alone. Turn on your consumer filter if you'd like, but don't fault the guy heaven forbid trying to market an exceptionally good product. When's the last time someone from RBK even poked his head in here to answer a question? Rest assured if RBK was here, the marketing spin would be a lot worse than anything Stace has done.

If Stace was non chalant about his product, I wouldn't have bought it.

This thread could turn out to be "interesting" Get your fingers ready mods.

The above quote is the post in question and yes it can be looked at as advertising. The reason I say this is the case here is the mfg'er spouted the fact whereas if a customer had posted the same facts it would not be looked at the same.

But then again, the question was a comparisement between those two masks.
In which Stace only pointed facts about both masks (minus the euro price vs. US price)

I would say advertisment if he told the guy to buy his mask, but in stead he left that part up to the customer.

pun.

You don't want to buy a Stacey, don't buy one. There's other masks that are protective.

If you ask for information about a mask, and someone gives it to you, say thank you & move on. If you ask (as you did) for a comparison between 2 masks, and someone gives it to you, say thank you and move on. You asked for something, and you got it. What more do you want, free masks??

This thread is exactly why ANY thread asking for "mask A vs. mask B" or "pad S vs. pad R" should be immediately locked and/or deleted. It's a train wreck waiting to happen.

Just because you didn't like the information you got, don't be a dick about it. Stace gave you a comparison based on fact, not based on his opinion. He didn't bad-mouth anyone or any mask. He stated the facts. You were a jackass about it. Stace is probably happy NOT to have you as a customer (just my opinion).

I love my Stacey mask. It's not my ONLY mask, and it may or may not be the ONLY mask I'll buy in the future. However, the thing is perfect for my head. If you don't want that, get yourself an off-the-shelf mask sized for Joe Everyman's noggin.

HRoark - the initiator was NOT serious in the first place so we shouldn't take this SUBJECT too seriously either.
One reads on many mask/equipment threads some kid or other saying I'm going to order one of those (and one of those and one of those) - I put that in my grey matter or do a search if the text makes me suspicious as this one did.

Did I convince everyone that Mike the millionaire is not one of my trolls but I thank him all to hell for the coverage. More should follow his example

Gotta agree with Cupra on this one Here's a good option: If you dont want to "deal" with the Stace, but still want his quality - just get the Staytrix, since all communication will be between the very nice Staytrix guy instead of the very the evil Stacey guy ha ha

Since I'm ordering one now, I guess some of you fools will think I'm not objective. That's not an advertisement and its silly to interject something like that into this.

I also researched Mike the Goalie.....seemingly quite the gear whore and also unemployed....that's why I was somewhat concerned about a troll setting us up the bomb.

Meh, whatever. Mike is too inept to be a real troll. His questions have been answered rather well in his little wierd comparison here.

Why can't people just live and let live? Is it really that hard? jebus.

Some if not most people are too sensitive and too concerned about being "politically correct" or other people being politically correct. Its complete nonsense.

Faint - you made me re-think my text - how's this - one mask has a Stacey sticker and the other has a ProMask sticker - end of comparison. PC enough for the oversensitive ??

I'll bet even that little example of humor will upset someone.

FD - correctly politcally incorrect but FACTUAL

I'm a "fanboy" of anyone who takes the time to help me out. I'm a fanboy of Scott Battram, Stace, and Jenna Jameson.

I'm aware you can have your own opinion, but your opinion is the minority here, yet you're trying to make the most noise, don't get me started on that nonsense. If your goal is to rile people up, go somewhere else.

Why mention what my mom taught me? She clearly taught me enough respect to not mention other people's moms in internet forums... now run along, and troll somewhere else.
