I don't think the orange/black/white combo will work like that.... It might look better when done, but in the customizer it looks bretty bad IMHO.
I'm actually growing really partial to these:

Blocker
For those of you that ordered the blocker...how is the feel and balance, what does it compare to? I may have to have Marc send me a demo as the surf board Brian's calls a blocker is getting on my last nerve.

I won't even bother posting pics of my gloves when they arrive then. 100% white, no weave, no colors.

I own both Smith and Vortek gear. You can't go wrong with either. Both companies make great gear. I'd give the edge to the Vortek catcher though.

The feel and balance are great. To me its not that different than the Smith blocker I had been using. The design is a bit different but it feels about the same.

This glove is actually a test model. It is a 46" glove, we have modified them down to a 45" with stock internal construction.
The blocker was sent to Ontario in November to help someone out who needed one. We were waiting for our internals for the blockers and he needed the gear. It was delivered by Canada Post today.....no ****.
I am going to have it directed to Craig so he can have a match set. He is very upset he is logo clashing.

Logo clashing...that is harsh!!! I don't mind that so much - but I truly hate trying to track gear down from friends ...just hate that Bauer blocker that you can see in the last picture...terrible...
Thanks for sending that blocker along!!! Greatly appreciated.

Craig, how is the protection. That glove was made for my son, he was 12 at the time.

I was going to save this for my review, but since you asked:
I play in a league here in Halifax that features ex-pros (IHL, AHL, ECHL). I happen to have taken slapshot/snapshots in warm-ups and throughout the course of 3 games now and NOTHING!!! Not a stinger, not even close - I can imagine for a 12 year old, this glove, protection wise would be overkill!!! I know for a fact that a few of these guys are well into the 80mph and 1 guy is still pushing the 90mph slapshot range - and this glove has held up nicely in my limited usage. What I think is of importance here is the break and "catchability" of the glove overall, to say the least - it is awesome. There is a total "cupped" feeling on the hand and I haven't had a single pop-out yet (something that was happening all the time with my Velo). Once the puck goes into the glove - it ain't coming out!
hope that helps -
Craig

My son in the off season practices with his HS team and does some Mens Open. He has never caught a stinger in that glove.
The glove for an adult actually has a bit more protection. The design also enables the glove to close and open without much pressure. This is why it is an absolute dream for the younger kids. I have kids as young as 9 playing in out 45inch glove and loving it.
