Custom Vapor XXX C/A

I saw on Nike Bauer's website that you can custom order the Vapor XXX C/A in custom colors ans sizing. That's pretty cool. I think it would be cool to see some units that were custom colors.

Think about Aubins...all blue with the chrome panels as white jenpro...

Any thoughts on what you guys and gals would get for colors?

For me, since my next set of Vapors will be Blackhawks colors, I would probably get red and black as my colors.

I was on the nike bauer website and it says you can custom order vapor XX pads,trapper,and blocker. but I can't find any sites with them that you can custom order.

If you go to the gear section, click on goal, then on chest protectors, select the Vapor XXX.

Look at color options and the last one will say custom.

I'm going to call Dukes tomorrow to find out for sure but I don't see why they would advertise custom as a color option if you couldn't get it.

You can get the Vapor XXX C/A customized. I have one that is Navy with a slightly beefed up bicep. Someone at the store was mis-informed. Apologies for this information.

The customized units are all made in Canada.

I remember hearing that if you get one custom, it is a lot more expensive than stock; because stock is made in China and custom is in Canada.

From what I hear, Bauer doesnt upcharge at all for custom orders.

- wider belly pan
- beefier arms
- non elastic wrist
- color
- taller throat guard

Nice canuck, hope it works well. When you visit, could you also see if they can make the arms and chest section custom to your size (arm length and everything).

done deal , all is possible

-added the taller neck
-wider belly pad
-went for black, red bleeds and the grey looks overseas
- the reason for the silver is to identify the brand as the nhl doesnt allow
logos on c/a, not for me

as with any c/a its all about the arms. l requested the face and sides to be stiffer
gary at dukes said he is meeting with the bauer rep to confirm any issues.

-also got the wrist strap to be made longer and not elastic
- sizing is not by way of a measuring tape. l went with a large body and medium arms. lm 6 feet 185

finally price was 500 cdn including mods, possibility of upcharging would be minimal. as the season is winding down time of delivry is not an issue 8-10 weeks

p.s l tried on a jb2100 in the store, gary and l both laughed as he said the 2007 model was going to be a little more form fitting

There have been some issues in the past with past custom orders and I think that was the main concern. All should be fine now!

Thanks for the info! Just wondering, how did you come up with the customization on your XXX? I'm about to go the custom route with this C/A, but I'm not sure where to start.

I do know that I'll change the color to all black and maybe the beefier upper arms, but what else made you decide to have those options made? Thanks for your help.
