This is the official Welcome thread for GSBB sponsors! In it we will welcome all new advertisers to our advertising program and give a personal plug to get them started. For more information on how you can have your business represented on our site please fill out the form on this page and we’ll help you promote your business on our site and reach the largest audience of goalies only online!

We are very excited to welcome Vortek Hockey to The GSBB Advertising Program. Marc Wells has signed up as our first major sponsor and as such you will see a lot of cool additions that will be put in place for the first time.

The Vortek sponsorship includes:

- Large banner at the top of the forum
- Unlimited access to the all new classified ads section (Launched later today)
- Unlimited access to the sponsored Photo Gallery (To be setup tomorrow)

And the most exciting addition will be the Vortek Branded Sub Forum to be located in the Equipment Forum.

This new sub forum will be moderated independently by Vortek (Marc Wells AKA Colonial) and two moderators of his choosing.

In the Vortek Forum, all site rules are still in place with the exception of those relating to advertising and self promotion. Outside the forum ALL site rules are still in effect.

I just saw this ad on this board:

Last month, 40,000 goalies
visited goaliestore.com
and none of them saw your ad.

I'm sure this is intended for people who do NOT yet advertise on the site.

But it sends entirely the wrong message to companies that DO advertise, who are just as likely to be looking at the site as non-advertisers.

I strongly suggest you change it, because if I were an advertiser on this site, I would be very upset with you telling me that no one reads the ads that I'm paying you for!

It was made when we were still using google adwords. and technically, none of the currently paying advertisers were seen last month... So in that respect it is correct.

However, you're right I'll take down that ad next week.
