"Official" Graf thread

I don't know if this has been done before. But here's a place to talk about your Graf skates or the Grafs you are going to buy. I just ordered a pair of White 750's with extra stiffness in the ankle and a pair of CCM customlight cowlings to put on them.

I'm just about to take those cowlings off my Bauer skates.

Not sure if anyone would want to buy a pair that has been used for four months, but I'll probably throw mine in the classifieds once I get them switched out and see what happens.

Yes, from what I was told.

I doubt the color scheme will be similar though - probably all black.

I like the graf cowlings.. no real complaints.. only minor one is now and again my toe digs into the ice.. not sure why.. probably because i am not really used to them yet. only skated on them now 5 times, 1 pick up session and 4 tourny games
I won the tourny in them . so i am going to keep em. and when my bauer boots wear out.. i will get the G50 or whatever the graf top of the line goal skate is at the time.
In my book the grafs are a keeper.

Graf came into our store today to inform us on their product lines we are now selling.

I got to see the Ultra G50, along with the new cowling for the first time.

The Ultra G50 is a great skate. Very stiff in the heel and along the boot with some flexibility in the upper. The skate's liner is very soft and dries out amazingly quickly.

The "new" cowling is very nice. I like the shaved down elf toe and combined with the new composite material in the G50, the skate is VERY light. I get a sick employee discount with Graf, so next year when I go to college, it looks like I'll be ordering some new skates.

Yeah, the discount is nice. I need to start working more so I can sell those skates. Very nice fit to 'em too.
