Your correct, same glove, just different angle from the photograph shot. He does however have two sets but it's the same glove and model.

If that is the dx2 not a theif with dx2 graphics I have the pro palm it really sucks to break in ive used mine a dozen times and its just really hard to close at first ive baked mine 3 times. Ive laid books in it to keep it closed on one of the bakes I even worked it for 30 minutes opening and closing it and its still pretty stiff. Its not a complaint because its already came in handy a few times.

Now ive made a whole thread on them but ill post in here since I have time now

I love them the performance of this gear is unbelievable brians must not pay to pros because I cant see why there isnt more in it

A few action pics

I just wanted to post up a thank you to Karen at Brian's...I know she sometime carouses these boards and I wanted to personally thank the company for their work on my equipment.

For those of you that don't know...I own//Designed the Jack//Ace Thief set...I'm now the owner/designer of the 10 of Clubs Catcher // Queen of Hearts Blocker...

Originally, I wanted a modified vaughn 5500 dropped into a thief to make it somewhat of a "better" feel to my tastes. Don't get me wrong...I had the thief set the week it came out and was absolutely in love but, I felt some modifications were necessary. Every company in the business that I contacted told me it could not be done...Karen, with a grin, said send it here...I'm nothing short of absolutely amazed.

All I have to say is...amazing. I'll be posting pictures up tomorrow...They are absolutely one of a kind and I just wanted to personally drop a thank you to Brian's for making the job everyone else told me was absolutely impossible, an absolute possibility.

My investment of just about $2700 has been well placed.

Nuff said.

2700 isnt that bad if you consider the work it takes to do something like that. I mean I havnt seen the pads personally but there is a guy on here that has a set similiar and just seeing that really makes you know your getting what you paid for. I love my dx2 set and couldnt ask for anything better. Im still kinda in favor of tps trappers but thats all I ever used. Brians gloves are the only thing close to a tps that felt right.

I agree that their customer service is unbeatable and their craftsmanship is some of the best. I had RBK and not that I didnt like how they performed I acctually love the performance out of RBK it just fell apart way to easy. The biggest thing I love about my DX2 set is how incredibly light it is I run everything really loose except my boot strap and knee lock and they dont even feel like they are on my legs.

Im still getting used to the smaller gear this is my first run at NHL speced gear the pads I dont really notice a difference id have to go back into 12 inch to find out but the trapper is deffinitly noticible, I also dont really notice a difference in the blocker as well being that im good at squaring it with the puck. Ive gave a review on the gear and I have no problem with saying in every catagory this gear gets a 10 out of 10

Congrats with your new purchase im sure you wont be dissappointed in anyway

Karen at Brian's stated they can make a Thief with knee rolls (at a charge). I agree the knee rolls look great but their is no function to them. I just had a custom thief pad made with a solid color to look like a knee role (basically the pad does not have the Thief graphic and it sorta looks like the vaughn retro set at goalie monkey except my colors are heritage brown and brown jenpro in high wear areas).

These are by far the best pad I have ever used. I love their Glove and blocker also. I had a heritage set made which makes everthing a bit on the heavy side (but looks great!!)
