Itech, hespeler, & eagle review

I have had all of this gear for a while, but lets start with the gloves

Eagle Sentry Gloves
Specs:
NHL Sizing
Pro Palm
Thats pretty much it

Pros & Cons:
Both gloves are so protective. I have yet to recieve a stinger, but the glove is fairly bulky and heavy. The blocker has amazing finger protection.

I highly recommend these

Hespeler A9 C/A
Specs:
Normal sizing
Aerovest padding in clavicle area

Pros & Cons:
Pros-Solid arm protection, fairly comfortable, and good spine protection
Cons-Too Bulky, fits odly, bad rib protection, heavy as crap, and crappy stomach/ chest protection

I would suggest not buying this unit!

Itech 4000 mask
Specs: Stock

Pros & Cons:
Pros-has alright paintjob
Cons-Heavy, immoblie, i get bad ringers all the time, i feel some impacts, paint is chipping, and it is extremely uncomfortable( iget hadaches when wearing it)

All of it:http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x...1/P6280259.jpg

Instead of buying one of these, buy a 4600 or a protechsport fiberglass

Would all of this gear be okay to wear for peewee A? AA? AAA?

Soon to come- Vector 4.0 skates

Uh, Okay. That was an okay review...be more informative and thorough next time. Look at other reviews for structuring. Nice pics and all.

And I have a comment to make on the Itech 4000 mask getting many ringers such that one should switch to a 4600. That doesn't make sense. 4000s are essentially the same to 4600s.

I've been using the 4600 for a while, and I've only had one small ringer on a knuckleball type shot. Elcamino, it sounds like the mask doesn't fit you properly if you're getting headaches and ringers frequently, mine fits me well and I'm not getting anything like that.

I don't know the differences between the 4000 and the 4600, but they're probably pretty similar.

Yeah, it probably is the fit because the mask is loose, my cheeks dont touch the sides, and the top of my head doesnt touch the top of the mask.

Definitely, fit is the most important factor in regards to mask safety (so I'm told).

4600s are 170$ at goaliemonkey now, maybe that will change their minds?

Priority number 1: Get a mask that fits properly.

Hey, its only your head on the line

Why don't you tell your parents that an ill fitted mask can get you a concussion. If they still say no then I suggest you forgot buying pads and buy a mask. Good luck.

Don't waste your breath.. er fingers typing. This kid says his parents won't let him have a new mask, but he acknowledges it fits VERY poorly, gives him headaches, ringers, etc... but wants to buy new pads to move up to ice.

Good luck playing ice, hope you don't get hit in the head, but if you do, the meds will say "Damn, those are nice pads", as they cut them off you to load you in the ambulance.
