CCM Blockade Pro Sr. Catcher

I have searched the board and gotten some info regarding reviews on this catcher but what i am curious about is a price. HockeyGiant has this on sale for 99.50. What is the regular price of this glove? I am guessing this is out of production since i am having a hard time finding it at other sites. Also does anyone know what break it has and any place to find the matching blocker?

Thanks

Ok.

I believe the glove has a 60 degree angle break.

The glove when it first came out retailed maybe aroudn the 300-400$ price mark.

The glove isn't for everyone; some like it and some dont.

For the price of 99.50 at HG it is a good deal, however, why not get a vector pro or gatekeeper instead?

Matching blocker for either gloves I mentioned can be found at goaliemonkey, even though I only gave you a link for the CCM blockade:

Thanks for the response. I saw both those other gloves and like what they look like as well. It is just the price. I am on a really tight budget. Have always been looking for a close out type glove in the $100 range. I play in a beer league and my current Itech 4.8 glove just doesnt hack in anymore.

What are the major differences that would tip me to buying one of the other gloves?

Glad to hear it is a 60 degree break. I have been reading that some people love the break in the blockade and others hate it.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately they do not carry the color I want.

The blockade catcher is a very distinct feeling catcher and you must try it on before buying. It is one of those gloves that either you love it or you hate it. I have tried several on over the past few years and it has to be the worst feeling glove I have ever had on my hand. If I were you, I would take the advice given to you in previous posts and get a Gatekeeper or a Vector Pro.

The Gatekeeper or Vector pro breaks are easier to adjust to?

Do they both have a 60% break as well?
