that cut came stock on my TPS wood sticks last year.. now I can't play without it. But i guess those sticks said "lundqvist" somehwere so they're probably making it for him.

They dont line up as it is just a raised part of the pad. The knee sticks up about .5 inch off the pad and from an angle dont line up. Straight on they do though.

Why would they be 34+4 inside and 36+2 outside? What is there to modify on the outside?

I think he might be right, if you look at where his knee wing is it's farther up by a few inches than the knee "blocks" on the pads. I know that's how exceeds/r8s are normally, but that looks more raised than normal.

So his knee lock is crooked by 2" on the inside of the pad???

Sorry...that's just dumb!!! Your ATK doesn't vary by 2" from one side of the pad to the other.

It's not that hard to understand. The knee lock is 36" on the inside of the pad, while the knee "blocks" of the pad are 34" inches on the outside. At least that's what I'm getting out of it. You can see from the pics his knee wing is above the knee blocks or whatever they're called.

OK...let's make this easy.

A 34" pad has a knee break at one height. A 36" pad has a knee break at a height 1 1/2" to 2" higher than that. So, the knee break will be diagonal, not straight (which is not the case on those pads). Also, the knee lock will be installed at a certain location on a 34" pad, and 1 1/2" to 2" higher on a 36" pad. That would make the knee lock crooked as well.

I think someone has misunderstood something he was told.
